5 of the Best Things to Try this Weekend

It’s

F..F..F..FRIDAY!

Yippeeee!

This week has been a really weird one, I’ve felt a little out of step all week, getting my days all muddled up…on Tuesday I thought it was Thursday and this morning I thought it was Saturday already!

Anyway, we have another jam packed weekend to look forward to with lots more dance and golf practice as well as a few parties for the adults as well as the children this week…

I know, I’m excited to get out…

of my fitness clothes & into normal clothes!

Before all of that though, here’s another of my Five Favourite things for you on this great Friday…feel free to join in and let me know what’s made your favourites list this week in the comments below!

WEEKEND BREAKFAST – French Toast Sticks with Maple Syrup

As a rule we make the little L’s pancakes on a Saturday or Sunday morning but this week we’re changing it up a little and going for these French Toast Sticks with Maple Syrup…they’re delicious.

WEEKEND FAMILY WORKOUTS

Weekends are a great time to show the rest of the family what you get up to with your workout time and involve them in some of your fitness fun…we tried this partner roly poly move this week

Why not give it a go?  If you do, be sure to let me know how you get on – tag me on Instagram or facebook with your results- I love to see what you get up to!

If you want more inspiration, check out the Fit 4 Mum TV tab or my Instagram and Facebook for other fun partner exercises…

SUITS

Please tell me you’ve indulged already in a little Harvey Specter and Mike Ross TV viewing?  I LOVE this TV show & the 7th season started this week so I fully intend to catch up on the first episode this weekend!  If you haven’t checked it out yet, add it to your list as one to watch.

WOBBLE CUSHIONS

wobble-cushionThis cool little gadget was my best friend when I was strengthening my ankles after an operation last year.
You can stand or sit on it to provide an unstable surface for which your muscles then have to work.  It’s great for helping with exercises that are designed to improve balance and posture.
Used correctly with relevant exercises it can help improve core strength and decrease back pain.
I’ll show you more exercises using it very soon.  Check them out here

“WORK HARD & BE PROUD OF WHAT YOU ACHIEVE”

I LOVE this quote, and was reminded of it when I received the text below from one of the Mums on my online training plan…

I’d say this lady is working pretty hard to make positive lifestyle changes and is proud of what she’s doing.

And so she should be…

There are often obstacles
There are doubters
There will be mistakes
But with hard work
There are no limits.

Right?

Yes, right, so

how about you start your weekend off with a great workout?

As a little Friday treat why not try this quick 20 minute playground workout with children today?
