This fruity, Oaty, flag dessert is not only great for 4th July celebrations but makes for a lovely summer dessert to share with friends too!  In fact it’s so easy & fun to make you can get the children involved to make it too.

Ingredients

1/2 cup softened butter
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 cup plain flour
1/4 cup oats
2-3 cups plain full fat greek yoghurt
4 teaspoons honey
2 cups Strawberries & Raspberries
1 cup Blueberries

Make It….

For the base:

Mix the butter, oats, flour & sugar together into a crumbly mix.
Spread it onto a piece of greaseproof paper and bake at 180/190 degrees C for 10-12 minutes, keep an eye out to make sure it doesn’t over cook.
Remove from oven and allow to completely cool

For the topping:

Mix the honey into the yoghurt and spread onto the cooled oaty base.
Next decorate to make the flag design with the blueberries, strawberries and respberries
Place in the fridge to cool for about an hour and then you are ready to serve!
