Hump Day
Whatever you want to call it….
How is your Wednesday going?
Not only are we halfway
through the week…
We are more than halfway through the year and that means my kiddos are almost done with their first year at school…
Wowzas
Really?
Already…
This time last year I was harping on about reaching the big 4-0
I’m just 3 weeks off the big 4-1
Oh well…middle schmiddle
Middle of the week, middle of the day, middle of your life…
forget about it
how about instead of staring at the bottom of the glass we go to town
and
do something really crazy
to fill our glass to the brim
& get through that mid week slump?
How about
we get a mood boost this week
by learning something new?
Apparently
the best way to turn around a bad day
is to learn something new…
Who knew?
There we go then…
we just learned something new!!
(think I might learn how to paddle board or Kite Surf this weekend…😳)
If that’s not enough,
how about getting stuck into
a new book?
or
cooking a new recipe?
or
trying a new exercise?
Leafy greens are heralded to increase
blood flow to our brains
& help us recall information
(2 thumbs up on our dinner menu tonight)
&
Omega 3’s
(like those found in salmon, walnuts, flaxseeds, seeds)
calm nerves & minimise anxiety
(high fives… again, on the menu ce soir)
Exercise…
Oh yeah baby
those endorphins
help you have a happier
calmer
state of mind…
Looks like we’ve got it
well and truly
covered.
So
not only
can we survive
hump day
we can
be positive everyday!
May your glass always be half full.
