Overnight oats are the perfect breakfast for a busy mum and a great post workout snack for you early risers.  Overnight oats are simply porridge oats soaked in milk and yoghurt in the fridge overnight. They absorb the liquid and make a deliciously creamy breakfast. You can add any topping you like the night before or in the morning.  I tend to eat mine cold on the run, but you can zap them in the microwave for a few minutes if you want to take the chill off.


1/3 cup rolled oats

1/3 – 1/2 cup milk [depending on how thick you like it]

1/3 cup plain yogurt

1/2 banana

handful of frozen berries

6 almonds

1/2 tbsp chia seeds

Pinch of cinnamon

Make It….

Add everything to a bowl, stir it up and pop it into the fridge overnight.
You can add a little crunch to the top in the morning if you fancy…
