top 5 tips to get you moving this winter
With winter on it’s way and the sight of horizontal rain & leaves taking off in the blustery wind, getting out to class takes some extra motivation at this time of year!
Here are FIT 4 MUM’s top 5 tips to get you moving this winter and stick with it:
- 1) Write it down. Write down how you feel the next time you finish a class, and post it somewhere you will see it everyday. I did this this morning after my workout and the note read, “Energised, Strong, Elongated, Peaceful & Smiling” What would your note say?
- 2) Set Goals. Keep a diary and start it by setting goals for yourself each month and tracking your progress against them. Goals should be SMART Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Realistic, Timed
- 3) Sign up. It’s easy to think, “Oh, I’ll give it a miss today” and skip classes when the weather isn’t perfect and you are just paying as you go. Make a commitment and register for a block of classes.
- 4) Have a Natter. Lots of mums tell us that the social time and cuppa after class is one of their biggest motivators!
- 5) Babies love it!. Babies flourish when stimulated by other environments and people….especially other babies. Fit 4 Mum classes benefit both you and your baby.
