Run 4 Mum Season 10 provisional dates for January 2011 – Welcome to Nel & Charlotte

As Many of you know I am expecting twins in February next year but never fear….Run 4 Mum will still be here! In order to keep you fit and out there training for your 5 & 10k’s our Run 4 Mum running club in Elmbridge, Surrey will continue! Taking a back seat from the Fit 4 Mum HQ Melissa will still be around for advice however we are very excited to introduce you to Nel Benger & Charlotte Colliver, both UK Athletics qualified running leaders who will be stepping in to keep you going…..over to you girls…!

CHARLOTTE COLLIVER:

I’ve been running with Run4Mum since the summer and absolutely love my bi-weekly training sessions with all the girls. Having been a competitive sprinter throughout my teens, I’m loving going back to regular team training and especially challenging myself over much longer distances than I ever thought I was ‘built’ to do. Running and staying fit is a vital part of my life and nothing beats the freedom that comes from putting on a pair of trainers and just hitting the road. I’m really excited to be co-leading the club with Nel from January and look forward to keeping you all fit and motivated while Melissa’s off having her babes. I’m mum to Daisy (3) and Max (2), both born at home, and am also a style consultant for Sweaty Betty, so let me know if you need any help putting your winter running kit together!

Nel Benger:

I was born & raised in North Yorkshire but have lived in Weybridge with my very supportive husband and 4 legged friends for a few years now!

Having tried for a few years, I was unable to have children of my own & although I’d worked in theatre and television for most of my career my experience led me to find my true passion as a Doula.  Not being able to have children of my own made me realise how important it is to have the right practical and emotional support for you and your partner. Providing a safe environment for you to be able to make the right informed decisions during labour and protecting your space so that you feel empowered and confident in your ability to have the most enjoyable and memorable birth you desire is my goal. I aim to help you feel in control of your pregnancy, birth and labour.

I have always been very active and enjoy all types of exercise. I joined the Run 4 Mum Club in summer 2010 and absolutely love the support and encouragement I have received not to mention the improvement in my running times! To compliment my running I also practice yoga and encourage new mums to exercise through Buggyfit and eventually running too.

I feel very lucky that I am able to combine all the things I enjoy and am really looking forward to helping out with the Run 4 Mum club in 2011. I am also excited to be Kevin and Melissa’s Doula for the birth of their twins!

Run 4 Mum has new courses starting across the UK in 2011 – keep your eye out in the January newsletter where we will be introducing our new running leaders. Be sure to like our social media sites for updates on new clubs in your area too.
