SPEED RUNNING WORKOUT

Morning Everyone! How was your Monday?

I wonder how my group of run Club Girls feel today….we did a super duper running workout last night, if you’re into your running (not a beginner or a new mum!) then try this little session on for size.  You’ll finish this workout feeling as much exhilarated by the speed you attain as you do tired from the effort 🙂  It’s well worth it though especially if you are keen to improve your 5k, 10k, half marathon or marathon times.

Talking of half marathons, Fit 4 Mum are entering a team into the Royal Parks Half Marathon in October & raising money for Cancer Research, so as today is the first day of July, we’ll soon be putting the training plan together for that…watch this space if you want to workout alongside us.

Food-wise, yesterday was a good day…breakfast started with my good old favorite of oats and yoghurt, topped with an M&S yoghurt this week, organic Apricot (it was really nice) and fresh kiwi and pear.  Accompanied by a homemade vanilla latte of course 🙂

Lunch was another firm favourite, a one egg omelet packed with goodness in the form of red onion, mushrooms, spring onion, tomato, cucumber, avocado, rocket and a little feta cheese.  I finished this off with half a pear & lots of waterIMG_0777

Dinner was super yummy last night, thanks to Jamie Oliver (and Kevin of course for cooking it!)  I would highly recommend this recipe.

Today, I’m about to do this quick 30 minute strength / circuit routine then I’m taking my gorgeous mum to SW19…Every year, if she can help it, my Mum does nothing for the 2 weeks of Wimbledon Tennis but sit & watch it.  I Love this event too so can’t wait…

Have a great day
