LONDON MARATHON

Every year I sit and watch the London Marathon, either at home or with friends in Canary Wharf and think, one day I’ll do it.  I’m yet to take on those 26.2 miles but today inspired me yet again.  This time, my two little ‘L’s were running madly around me as we watched in awe at the elite runners speeding through the streets of London & then sat and for the first time, for them, & understood why regular, often inexperienced runners train so hard to take on such an awesome run.

I’ve worked as a fitness trainer for nearly 20 years and every day I am inpsired by the people I meet and the fitness goals they work so hard to achieve.  I set up my own running club 6 years ago and have been totally taken aback by some of my now friends who started by running for 1 minute and walking for 1 minute who I now watch taking on Triathlons, half marathons and more.

Tomorrow we start on another 6 week journey with Run Club & Run Fit Club. I’m hoping we’ll get to meet new women who we can inspire and who inspire us, as well as seeing the regular friendly faces who make each session & season so worthwhile.

WHAT IS RUN FIT CIRCUITS?
60 MINUTE CLASS
up to 30 minutes of interval cardiovascular exercise with
20-30 minutes cardio strength training
Beginners through to advanced exercisers welcomeWHAT IS RUN CLUB?
60 MINUTE GUIDED RUNNING PLAN
Progressive run programme for beginners run up to 5k by the end of the season.
More advanced runner?  Get a new PB with our advanced programme, guaranteed to take minutes off your time!We recommend you combine Run Fit with Run Club and therefore opt for 2 sessions a week.  No time to commit?  Don’t worry sign up to the season and you’ll receive a comprehensive training guide to accompany your guided sessions so you can still follow the plan.

HOW LONG IS A SEASON?
SEASON LASTS 6 WEEKS
2 Run Club sessions & 3 Run Fit sessions available per week
**there will be no class Easter Monday 21st April & Saturday 19th April**
